Here is Wisdom
Is there a God?
At some point in your life you may ask, is there a God? The simple act of asking this question may mean you have an interest in seeking a relationship with God or the need to renew your faith in God. Your not the first non-believer or believer to seek a sturdy answer to this question, some might say the question that tops all questions.
You may have gone through your life experiencing the hurts and joys this existence has to offer. You may have even come to a point where your asking yourself what’s the goal of doing anything if the overall outcome leads to nothing for you.
Ask yourself this, if there were a God and we had concrete proof of Gods’ existence, would you Love God, would you serve God, would you pray to God, would you try and understand God, would you absorb all the love and graces God sends to you unconditionally, would you be happier knowing you have a great purpose, you are special, you are planned and you are unconditionally loved beyond measure?
The wind exists even though it is invisible, the air we breath exists even though we cant see it. So the answer to your question my friends, is there a God? Yes there is a God who loves you more then you can possibly imagine and finding, knowing and loving God can be your solid and unwavering foundation built upon truth and love.
Some people may think they need a man-made religion based on man's design to find God, some may believe they need to watch a religious TV channel 24/7 or they need to solely be in a church to love and serve God. I ask you this, what man-made religious building can ever top the temple God has created personally? That temple my friends is you, your body your soul. God created you, and you are your own direct line to God.
"Yet not in houses made by hands does the Most High dwell, even as the prophet says, “The heaven is my throne, and the earth a footstool for my feet. What house will you build me, says the Lord, or what shall be the place of my resting? Did not my hand make all this?"
--- Acts Of the Apostles 7:48-50
"Or do you know that your members are the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought at a great price. Glorify God and bear him in your body."
--- Cor I 6:19-20
Along the way you will encounter a door between you and God, that door is Jesus Christ.
“Amen, amen, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All whoever have come are thieves and robbers; but the sheep have not heard them. I am the door. If anyone enter by me he shall be safe, and shall go in and out, and shall find pastures. The thief comes only to steal, and slay, and destroy. I come that they may have life, and have it more abundantly.”
--- John 10:7-10
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me. If you had known me, you would also have known my Father.”
--- John 14:6-7
No man or man-made object can open that door for you, you must want to open that door yourself. When you open it, you will never look back, you will be fulfilled in your meaning and your purpose in this life. All it takes is for you to believe and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Your life will be renewed in the purifying love of God and Jesus. You will fear this world no longer nor its creatures nor its objects, for you will know you are on the right path in whatever you do thereafter.
All it takes is for you to open the door and allow Jesus Christ into your life and to love God and your neighbour (everyone, even your enemies).
"Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, it shall be opened."
Jesus gives us a home on this earth to share with our brothers and sisters so that we would never be alone. The Body of Believers, The Mystical Body of Christ, the Church is our home on this earth. Going on this journey of faith alone will make you vulnerable to being destroyed by predators, the Church of Christ is there for you to be safe and among friends of the same goal, to love God and to do His will.
